Hypothesis 5: UFO experiences are released only in the brain produced hallucinations, by natural electromagnetic waves.
This hypothesis comes from the Canadian neurologist Dr. Michael Persinger, who could simulate UFO experiences with test persons, with the help of the helmet designed by him.
For this Persinger used low-frequency electromagnetic oscillations in the frequency range below 10 cycles per second, so-called Schumann waves, from which is known that they naturally occur in the terrestrial atmosphere and that they may force altered states of consciousness in the human brain (alpha and/or Theta conditions).
Persinger modulated these waves with certain information patterns, by which UFO similar experiences could be released.
Such an explanation comes quite close to the physical facts, which arise with such experiences also in natural way.
The lapidary explanation by Persinger, that the UFO experiences are then only hallucinations due to geomagnetic fluctuations, cannot be maintained however. Naturally the UFO experiences are only subjective and virtual nature. That doesn't mean however that they wouldn't have a real background, particularly since Persinger's test conditions did not copy the natural electromagnetic radiations original-faithfully.
Under any circumstances thereby cannot be explained, why humans report on scientifically comprehensible facts in the process of such experiences, over which they couldn't know before.
If thus all classical-physical or -psychological explanations do not convince, are then the "UFO experiences" perhaps nevertheless real? On this page you may reread, why this is not our opinion.
