Why are the descriptions of the UFO experiences so similar everywhere in the world that one could regard it so long time as objective reality? To clarify this we have to add some remarks, how human consciousness processes experiences. We all long us in the life for certainty and clear answers. Regardless of all progress asseverations we are indeed conservative natures, which probably-feel, if the world looks still in such a way today, as it looked yesterday.
During life however, if something new meets us, which we haven't ever seen or experienced, then this shifts us in stress or even fear, quite simply, because we do not know, how we are to react to the new situation.
Therefore our consciousness is anxious in such a moment, at least to some extent, to find from our experience and memory treasure similar reference experiences which help us to arrange the new experience. Often we help unconsciously even little thereby, by amending the objective data, which our sensory organs supply us, so far that the subjective perception resulting from it fits into the desired pattern. We fade out not suitable data simply from our perception, by not taking them to the knowledge, or we also possibly see something else in things, than they actually are. If we succeeds in this, we are internally calmed down. Then again behavior patterns are at our disposal, which permit us to get along appropriately in the changed reality, according to our abilities.
But what to do, if one does not succeed, by unconscious manipulation of one's perception and with help of one's personal memories and experiences to correct our conception of the world "as should be"? In this moment of extreme vibration our consciousness structures break down including our personal subconsciousness, and there are only two possibilities, how we can survive this condition with intact personality:
Following C. G. Jung, in the collective unconsciousness however the archetypical prototypes of the human soul are located, thus on the whole archaic hero, fairy tale and animal shapes as well as various fabulous creatures, as known from our fairy tales and legends.
Here in the archetype memory probably the scenes of the UFO experiences are to be settled, including the "Greys". Since these archetypes of mankind are global heritage as a whole, it is not amazing that the UFO experiences are so similar world-wide.
Hypothesis 1: The world-wide admitted elements of the UFO myth like small grey extraterrestials, spaceships, medical experiments, implants etc. are symbols from the collective archetype memory of mankind, from which the virtual experience is built up.
If you read this explanation, you are possibly disappointed and suppose, the UFO experiences aren't anything else but a kind of usual nightmares. Then you misunderstood us however thoroughly. The abduction saga however, as it is generally known, actually might be nothing else as such archetypical virtual reality.
But we should not forget, from what point we started: the archetypical experience is a substitute rememberance, which is to mask a real experience hiding behind it, because humans were not able to look to this experience itself in the eye.
Hypothesis 2: The real experience behind the UFO abductions is an extended human state of consciousness, in which humans get into a continuum beyond space and time, a kind of space-time tunnel.
Experience shows that scenes in trance jumps out of the past to the moment of "here and now" (s. main text), as soon as the virtual operation table scene is transcendet, because one can usually ask then questions, which are answered directly by apparent intelligence.
The information contained in these statements follows the regularities of information transfer by a space-time tunnel accurately, as investigated by modern physics (see e.g. the work of professor Nimtz, Universitaet Cologne, to the "trans-light velocity". Nimtz tried to transfer information with the help of the quantum-mechanical "tunnel effect" - in this case Mozart 40. symphony. The result was that at the other end of the space-time tunnel noise arrived to a large extent, but by suitable reinforcement the music was still perfectly audible).
Something similar takes places with hypercommunication during processing of "UFO experiences" in trance, after the archetypical level was transcended. A channel to the hypercommunications network opens, whose information flows is probably always present for humans concerned with UFO experiences. In normal daily life however, with its louder external attractions, this sinks into the noise.
By suitable signal reinforcement (elimination of outside perception, introduction of a trance state with its refined internal perception possibilities) however also meaningful information may be filtered from this noise.
A certain percentage of the answers of the clients in this state, also on difficult, scientific questions, proved as conclusive and comprehensible, while the remainder was either not comprehensibly or also unmistakably distorted or unreasonable. This second part of the information one can attribute thus to the "noise". Since humans are always anxious to arrange information, these incomprehensible data are then usually dramatized with archetypical pictures.
Thus some pitfalls come up with the study of such experiences, which each researcher or therapist should know, in order to be safe before hasty conclusions. We had to experience that one can be safe in this group of topics of no more thing. Straight this is a clear sign that behind this there are experiences for which our language has no words.
One of these traps is it that a hypnotist tries to fill a time gap possibly unintentionally with events, where actually nothing was to be filled, since the time gap was objectively not at all present. Outside of space and time of course no one can lose time.
If human consciousness becomes, for what reasons ever, out-hurled from our space-time structure, then it leaves our reality at a place A at a time B and returns at a place C at a time D again to the normal world. This states absolutely nothing whether in the meantime in consciousness time passed or whether it would have traveled a distance.
If the hypnotist does not consider this, he should not be surprised, if he gets again only notorious archetypical experiences. He nevertheless wins a reference in this way that a nonlinear experience might be present as background, because for this kind of experiences the abduction story is typical.
It is now important how he reacts. If he stays on the archetypical level, he will come into a dead end and will reach at best that its client resigns itself to this superficial experience.
That may even be an advantage – John Mack helped countless patients this way live again a normal life. For him as a psychologist the UFO experiences were only a further sort of post traumatic syndrome, and he intervened accordingly. This attitude is acceptable, but one can achieve more by far.
The second trap is that one – no matter how many levels of substitute rememberances the therapist will work through – he will never be sure not only to uncover a new substitute rememberance. More still: as long as the experience represents still another linear experience, he can be almost sure that it is only a further substitute rememberance. This is not bad too, as long as one remains oneself conscious for the fact. One can work with such substitute rememberances on each level quite well and win a quantity of information. After sometimes he will discover next contradictorynesses, which remind him again of the fact that he is still on a provisional level.
In addition, we want to say clearly that we should separate here between research and therapy. If one works therapeutically with people with UFO experiences, it is usually not necessary to achieve an "ultimative" level. Usually a suitable substitute level is sufficient perfectly, in order to help humans to clear-come with their experiences. This can be also the archetypical level with the operation table, as the example of John Mack shows.
Some people, who asked us in these cases for advice, wanted to continue however after revision, in the reason after conclusion of the therapeutic work, still voluntarily, from pure urge for knowledge, to find out more about the possible background of the UFO experiences. The genuine experience behind the UFO experiences seems thus to be settled outside of our normal space-time structure. It is inevitably nonlinear therefore in the sense of our usual time. It is no wonder that humans cannot deal with it consciously and feel it as threatening or traumatic. Our brain is accustomed to linear thinking, where one event occurs after the other.
Thus we come to the next point, i.e. to the trauma. We can offer an answer to the question now, why most humans experience the so-called UFO experiences traumatically.
Hypothesis 3: The direct experience of consciousness beyond space and time is usually experienced by humans traumatically at the beginning, so that it is rather bearable for their consciousness to convert it into a "UFO experience".
Following our research original trauma exists thus in the experience of the state beypnd space and time actually. The reason is that the conscious understanding cannot convert it into a suitable linear experience, i.e. suitable for our perception.
The subconsciousness therefore tries to change this experience into a wrong but better bearable linear experience. Since the personal memories exhibit usually no reference memories for this, this happens on the level of collective archetype consciousness.
As soon as humans recognize and transcendent the archetypical level in hypnotic trance as virtual, he is confronted directly with the actual experience beyond space and time.
A nonlinear condition outside of space and time is called "here and now" however, by scientists and philosophers, or a condition of eternity or the always-lasting. This means however that human consciousness indeed has an acceptable form, in order to process the experience more directly, i.e. by transition to here and now:
No matter, how often and at which times one would shift the person in trance again, he would experience this moment never more as past, but always as here and now. The virtual conference room is just as unreal as the operation table scene, but the experience is not any longer traumatic, and at the same time no longer artificially linearized (i.e. assigned to a firm point in space and time), so that thereby the trauma has no basis anymore.
This also explains, why the people could release all psychosomatic complaints and fears after this realization step usually spontaneously.
At this time some questions arise naturally:
Even the name is misleading, because most concerned people never saw at least a "UFO". The major part of the experiences takes place at night in bed, in a state of consciousness somewhere between being awake and sleeping. In few cases humans make the experiences however also outside, usually in lonely area, during a migration or a monotonous drive along a highway, thus in moments, where our consciousness is also often in an easily lowered trance state. Even then however a UFO is not necessarily seen.
About the archetypical operation table experiences is mostly said then usually, they would have taken place in the inside of a UFO. But this is usually only an interpretation, which is not based on proof-strong indications, because only in the rarest cases a concerned person sees herself really walking inside such a UFO. Usually, during the process of remembering, the scene wraps around rather suddenly, so as if a film tear would have occurred.
The entire operational sequence of the archetypical experiences in the strange area is however in almost all cases to a large extent identical, all the same, whether a UFO was seen or not.
The UFO is not necessarily an "extraterrestial spaceship", but a archetypical symbol, as already C G. Jung determined. Interestingly enough he already recognized that it symbolizes a holistic world, in which the separation between internal and outside experience is waived. Scientifically one can say that UFOs symbolize directly the space-time tunnel, because in such a tunnel so-called vacuum domains may be formed, which may lead then in our reality to UFO similar luminous objects.
Not necessarily. This is impossible to decide. However if "extraterrestials" should stand behind the phenomenon, then at least they don't look necessarily like the "Greys", and they also don't need spaceships in order to get in contact with us.
With the available proof situation it is however not necessary under any circumstances to refer to extraterrestials in order to explain the communication procedure via the space-time tunnel. Thus we come to the next hypothesis.
Hypothesis 4: During a "UFO experience" a communication procedure comes up, with which humans attain access to a higher group consciousness.
Observations from the animal realm prove that consciousness of any kind shows two different tendencies: on the one hand to individualize itself, on the other hand to organize the individuals again to higher structures of consciousness.
It is provable that animals with their higher group consciousness structures, which are directly accessible to each single animal, communicate also beyond space and time. Same applies then naturally also to humans.
As soon as this happens consciously, a fear reaction takes place, because the individual consciousness structures (the " Ego ") dissolve for a short instance of time, a procedure, which is known also from close death experiences and from cosmic experiences of the mystics.
This way it becomes explainably, why during this procedure knowledge becomes available, which can be examined afterwards. The fact that it is examinable, presupposes that it there are humans in the world at this time to whom this is already known. Thus a further question arises:
This would indeed be the only way, on which the "extraterrestials" could come in again by the back door, as human consciousness expands so far that it receives points of contact with strange civilizations, without need that these would have to leave their planet at all. It would be on the whole the idea that American astronomer Carl Sagan pursued with his book "contact" (in the meantime also filmed with Jodie Foster in the main role) – an information exchange between two civilizations in cosmos, here even delay-free over space and time.
So enticing this possibility sounds natural, it is not unfortunately not provable. In addition it would be necessary to receive information which is demonstrably correct and – likewise demonstrably – not known to mankind yet.
This did not happen until today. Whether in the future such a possibility will open, remains open. At present it can be justified only scientifically that over the space-time tunnel mentioned the knowledge of entire mankind can be tapped – nevertheless already a breath-robbing consequence.
Hypothesis 5: Also the level of communication with higher group consciousness is virtual in the reason and dissolves after some time, in order to make place for a direct experience of being.
In some few cases it happened that actually after some time the virtual communication level with the conference room dissolved automatically. The concerned people experienced then a direct state of emptiness and/or feeling of unity with the entire cosmos. It is interesting in this context to regard the consequences since nevertheless on the communication level meaningful information was conveyed, although the level itself is virtual. This opens also new ways for scientists and philosophers to evaluate the reality content of our normal material reality again.
